Lori E. Allan
Lori E. Allan is a graphic and web designer in Washington, DC, as well as adjunct faculty at Howard University. She holds a BA in Digital Media from the University of Detroit Mercy and an MFA in Design from Howard University.
Lori designs all of the marketing materials, and event images for the Bahá’í Chair, as well as the annual newsletter, website design, and other special publications.

Emily Gorey
Emily Gorey first crossed paths with The Baha’i Chair her freshman year at the University of Maryland in 2016. She took Dr. Mahmoudi’s honors seminar, The Problem of Prejudice: Overcoming Impediments to World Peace. Immediately, she was drawn into the work of The Baha’i Chair. Later on in her college career, Emily joined The Baha’i Chair as its marketing intern running the social media. She also acted as the Teaching Assistant for Dr. Mahmoudi’s seminar in later years.
Since graduation, Emily has kept in touch with The Baha’i Chair and continues to contribute. Most recently, she helped with launching the new website. Emily now resides in Los Angeles working as a Strategist for an advertising agency. She continues to apply lessons she has learned through the Baha’i Chair to her work and everyday.

Malik Wilson
Malik Wilson is a Faculty Fellow at the Bahai Chair for World Peace at the University of Maryland. He works closely with Dr. Mahmoudi in matters relating to editorial concerns – publications, speeches, and publishing.
Malik Wilson brings more than 20 years of Editorial experience to the Chair and has contributed to academic, commercial, technical, and museum presses. He has been cited, quoted, or credited by The New York Times, The Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture, MIT Press and the University of Virginia Press.
Mr. Wilson was previously a Visiting Fellow at American University and the Humanities Council of Washington, DC.

Nina-Abbie Temisan Omatsola
Nina-Abbie Temisan Omatsola is an undergraduate student working as a research intern with the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace. She is pursuing a dual major in Psychology and Theatre at the University of Maryland-College Park. Her interests include quality education for all.

Kai-Lin Yu
Kai-Lin Yu serves as the Social Media and Marketing Intern for the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace. She is in charge of creating social media content and promoting events. Kai-Lin is currently a sophomore studying Marketing and Operations Management and Business Analytics. She is part of the University Honors Program and is involved with multiple clubs on campus.

Eden Adhanom was a Graduate Assistant at the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace from 2023-2024. With a strong foundation in public health, Eden's work as a Graduate Assistant reflected her determination to make a positive impact on the world by promoting peace, well-being, and equitable access to healthcare.

Zoe Lebovic was the Social Media and Marketing Intern at the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace from 2023-2024 where she was in charge of creating and sharing content across our social media platforms as well as promoting upcoming events.

Meredith Friedland was the Social Media and Marketing Intern at the Bahá’í Chair from 2021 - 2023 where she planned and managed the Chairs' online presence as well as promoted upcoming events.

Stella Hudson
Stella Hudson was an MLIS student, and a GA with the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace, a TA in the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences, and a Research and Teaching Fellow from 2021 - 2023. She earned her BA from the College of William and Mary, where she majored in English and minored in Classical Studies.

Vivien Lau
Vivien Lau was a website intern with the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace from 2021 - 2022. She is currently studying Finance and Information Systems at the University of Maryland. Upon graduation, Vivien hopes to pursue a career in which she can be a strategic advisor for financial deal transactions such as helping a company IPO or to acquire another company.

Ananya Nadig
Ananya Nadig was a website intern with the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace from 2021 - 2022. She is pursuing a degree in computer science with minors in advanced cybersecurity and in science, technology, ethics, and policy. After graduation, she hopes to work at a reputable company doing software development and research. Outside of school, she enjoys volunteering and painting.
